Gin Tonic and lobster: what better way to start the weekend? Joep, the owner, understands this and that's why Yoepz (named after Joep, duh) in Utrecht has both.

Yoepz' formula is simple. Chicken for the meat lover, lobster for the fish lover. The food is mouth-watering, the interior a mix of French bistro and industrial with a sleek bar and lots of steel.

A favorite is the half chicken with spicy Portuguese piri pari sauce. And the lobster salad. That one too. The lobster is deliciously juicy and simply fantastic (if we could, we would eat lobster here every day). And when that lobster is also combined with crispy asparagus and soft avocado: yum! It's best to wake us up for that.

What also makes us happy? Yoepz understands that food should be enjoyed, so you will receive a bib with your meal. So you can just put on your beautiful dress during date night.
