Set course for EAVE Bistro at SERRE in Hotel Okura Amsterdam (until June 8)

Until June 8, SERRE looks just a little different. The restaurant by the water of Hotel Okura Amsterdam has been temporarily renamed to EAVE Bistro at SERRE, a collaboration with the Dutch skincare brand EAVE Cosmetics.

Anyone who has ever visited Mykonos, Saint-Tropez, or Cannes is probably already familiar with the phenomenon: brands temporarily taking over a restaurant, beach club, or hotel and turning it into a complete experience. In the Netherlands, you don't often see this on this scale yet. Reason enough, then, to reserve a table right now.

 

EAVE is a luxury Dutch skincare brand that has built a loyal fan base over the past few years with high-quality skincare and a philosophy centered on supporting the skin rather than correcting it. Central to this is Bioquantine®, an exclusive and patented ingredient that forms the basis of virtually all products. It is the kind of brand you increasingly find on the bathroom shelf of someone who is just a little bit more informed than you.

That world of EAVE now translates to EAVE Bistro at SERRE. For the occasion, the SERRE team developed a special menu and matching cocktails inspired by the world of EAVE.

 

All in all, then, not a classic product launch, but an experience reflected in the interior, on the table, and even by the water. Private loveseats have been created there for this period, available exclusively by reservation, including champagne service. We wouldn't say no to that.

The setting certainly helps as well. SERRE has a Bib Gourmand for good reason, and chef Jos van der Noll knows better than anyone how to keep refined food accessible. The restaurant is situated right on the water and feels surprisingly relaxed, especially on sunny days.

And for those who have never stepped inside Okura, this is the perfect time. Behind the iconic tower in Amsterdam South, there are many more culinary hotspots hidden than just SERRE. For instance, you can also find Yamazato and two-Michelin-star restaurant Ciel Bleu there, but let's start with EAVE Bistro at SERRE for now.
