14 x Zuidas Amsterdam
The Zuidas is booming. Who would have thought we would ever say that? But it's true. One nice business after another opens for office workers and why not? Power food is needed. Not (necessarily) #healthy but hearty tasty food that will keep you going for a few hours. So get rid of the poor healthy sandwiches with a wilted lettuce leaf staring at you pitifully. Tasty, good food, that's what it must be. An exploratory tour through the neighborhood yielded: 13 x the best of the Zuidas Amsterdam

New: the breakfast club Zuidas
The breakfast club, which has become indispensable in Amsterdam, will open its fourth location on Monday, October 9, 2017. And yes, that is what the club does in Amsterdam South, at Gustav Mahlerplein at number 114. Exactly, right in the business heart of Amsterdam. They are open 7 days a week for all-day breakfast, but just like the location on Haarlemmerplein, also for after-work drinks.
Mylk
The business belongs to the sweet Elena, who was brought to Amsterdam from Bali by Casper Reinders to open a vegetarian spot together. Elena opened Alchemy in Ubud which is a vegan, raw heaven. She does a similar thing at the Zuidas, but in an Amsterdam style. Read more: Mylk
The Barn Food
The Barn for intimates: a restaurant that 'from stable to table' preaches. Not necessarily something that has not been done before, but few (Amsterdam) restaurants proclaim it so literally - and certainly not restaurants located on the Zuidas. Better days have come for the lawyers and associates there. Read more: The Barn Food

The Breakfast Club
Just a few more weeks and the folks at The Breakfast Club will open their fourth place. This time the offices, and therefore the people, of the Zuid As are the lucky ones. Where exactly? At Gustav Mahlerlaan 114. We'll have to wait a little longer the all day breakfast galore. The Breakfast Club will be open especially for all the workers from 8:00 AM - 18:00 PM and for the DoMiBo or VrijMiBo on (duh) Thursday and Friday. The Breakfast Club South As
Loetje Zuidas
Does Loetje need any explanation? No, right? An (almost) bare (and delicious) steak in its own gravy is the standard, you order your fries on the side. Okay, okay, let's be honest. Loetje is not yet in the Zuidas. But it will come. We have heard that Loetje will receive the keys to their new building at the end of 2017 and until then, Loetje visitors can cycle to Loetje Zuid, among others. The classic Amsterdammer is now a chain, but the steak remains as good as ever. Loetje

SLA
SLA came, saw and conquered. SLA is popping up everywhere and that's great because SLA helps us stay healthy throughout the week. SLA has been in the Zuidas for a while and can also deliver for the really busy people. SLA
Bolenius
This is one with a star. Just one iets different level, but it's worth it. You can go all out, but Bolenius is also suitable for a quickie: a two-course menu served in 50 minutes. Hoppa: star lunch as a snack. We think it's beautiful. Bolenius

Market 33
Market 33 offers 21 stands. Favorite? The Poké bowls and bao buns from Bowls & Buns. And everything from Everything on a Stick. Sushi is also available, as are fries and you can also go to Market 33 for your healthy juices. Some things really reminded us of City Kitchen, a small and extremely attractive, well-stocked food hall around the corner from Times Square in New York. But that's besides the point. Market 33
Sushilee
The atmosphere is relaxed and laidback, the decor is sleek and simple, with old school chairs, simple wooden tables, concrete floor, olive green walls and a white tiled kitchen. The menu - on the menu in front of you and also projected on the wall - includes sushi and sashimi, with well-known highlights and more adventurous options such as sushi with hot-smoked salmon and miso, nigiri with salmon, ginger and eggplant or something with beef bulgogi, asparagus or shiitake. Plus much more. To go! Sushilee
Kenko Kitchen
Well, does Kenko Kitchen still need a lot of explanation? In the Sushilee category because sushi but slightly different. At Kenko good food, a good place and a spacious terrace outside for nice weather. Pick-up and ordering is of course an option. Kenko Kitchen
Zuidas region
Not 100% on the Zuid As but close enough, we have a bunch of hotspots as the icing on the cake in this 13 x Zuidas Amsterdam overview.

Beach South
Strandzuid, at the RAI in Amsterdam, also known as the South Pole, is back on. To be honest, we haven't been there yet. But the stories in the corridor are universally jubilant, so hey, we can go along with that, even before we have seen it ourselves. The pictures look unparalleled, fingers crossed that this also applies to the food and the public this summer. Beach South
The Roast Room
The Roast Room has a lightweight brasserie on the ground floor for breakfast (the men have tested extensively and promise the very best breakfast in the city), lunch and dinner (including Burgers & Sausages from their own butcher shop, also on the ground floor behind a large glass front, where the butcher is doing his 'thing' live), a long bar and a cozy shop where the owner likes to sell his homemade pates and sausages. And a spacious terrace on the street. Perfect for the VrijMiBo. The Roast Room

The Amsterdam Tasting Room
Tasting and testing what the ROC students (okay, not just them) have prepared. You can taste, toast, chat, eat and drink on no less than 1.800 m2 spread over two floors. Favorite? The Seafood Bar. We think. because oysters and delicious wines. Although in terms of looks the Grill & Bistro also does particularly well. The Amsterdam Tasting Room
Restaurant Trial
Trial work Amsterdam, you had us @ mint green with pink, literally (but really) the colors of my teenager / children's room in the parental home. And a little more with the caption: dinner AND dance! BAM. Restaurant Trial
