Chicken, fries and apple sauce, what could be a bigger party? Oh yes, but then you have to go to Alan & Pim's in Rotterdam because they go one step further. Let's go back to the beginning. Alan and Pim actually just wanted to set up a really cool snack bar. But since there is already a Pomm's, a Tante Nel and a Haute Fritez in terms of nice snack bar offerings in Rotterdam, they felt that they could not really be that distinctive in that area. And what is there to eat with your fries? Exactly: chicken! And so a real chicken restaurant was created with whole and half chickens from the spit and toppings of your choice. The apple sauce is of course also homemade, that goes without saying. And what made us so happy? The 'boefjes' menu. No separate children's menu, but just a nice (free) snack from your parents! Alan & Pim's

PS The take-away is still a little bit under construction, but it is there. Still quite handy if your child is really such a rascal that day that you don't really dare to take him in public.
