Over the years we have embraced the baby shower and we show up without complaining when a toast is made to a mom-to-be. Especially when a nice bubble is poured for us and the lame games are left behind. If we are also allowed to go to the Waldorf Astoria in our Sunday best, then we are definitely there.

We've already let ourselves be driven crazy before during the Summer Afternoon Tea in the Waldorf and now we have another good reason to stroll that way – with a pregnant girlfriend. Savory snacks, sweet snacks, everything presented beautifully. Important side note: in addition to all kinds of tea, there are also delicious wines and champagne. For the pretty pregor they lovingly mix a delicious mocktail.
