Search and you will find... And we have found another one! A more than super nice addition to the Dutch children's stores: Bij en Mus! In, yes: Meppel. Of all places. But it's true, in Meppel you can spend a few hours browsing the shelves of delicious food kids store Bij en Mus. Party, that's what it is, and no less.

Let's go back: children's shop Bij en Mus started from an attic room. Buy a little, take photos and sell again, that idea. That went well, the fans came and multiplied and exactly one year (1 year!) later there is an incredibly cool brick store in the main street of Meppel! (it is by far the nicest store in the area, but ok).

Fans were already there, thanks to the webshop of the trendy company, but about a month ago there was now a real store. The ladies (Jessica and Susan) sell everything you dream of for your baby and your child. And then some more. If Jessica and Susan don't absolutely love something 100%, then it simply won't be included, and that strategy is paying off: the range is one that you won't be disappointed with.

There are beautiful and sustainable clothing brands from our own Dutch soil, such as Ammehoela, Daily Brat, Be Kind and Mingo. And there are sustainable toys: hello beautiful things from Dantoy (made from cane sugar), Holtziger and Maileg!

It will come as no surprise, but both the webshop and the store are a joy to spend hours in. Walking or scrolling through it, both good. Also nice: there are countless doll outfit options and even more props such as doll baskets, beds and carts. Enjoy.

For older children, you can have fun with finger paint and clay from Neogrün. No, we didn't know this brand either, but we immediately put it on our wish list! And there is a very nice range of books that Jessica and Susan put together with love.

You understand: Team Bart secretly hopes for a second store in the Randstad, although such a day in Meppel and the surrounding area is also quite a nice idea. Drop by? This can be done at the following address: Hoofdstraat 9, Meppel.
