Bread, coffee, and creativity come together at Dees in Tilburg.

Have you heard of 'Dees' yet? Those of us from Tilburg will naturally understand immediately why this name is so well chosen. Located on Korte Tuinstraat, just a stone's throw from the shopping street, you'll find this creative melting pot where you can go for fresh bread, breakfast, lunch, and treats. The studios of local creatives create a lively atmosphere, and anyone looking for an inspiring workspace can even rent a desk there. Coffee included, of course.

Sourdough bread undoubtedly takes center stage here. In the morning, you can sit down for one or two slices with a boiled egg, cheese, and jam, while focaccia appears on the menu from 11:30 AM. Additionally, toasted sandwiches are on the menu, and the display case is full of sweets that you simply can't resist. We fell head over heels for the lemon poppy seed cake. As far as we're concerned, that alone is a good reason to stop by.

Also nice: the small regional supermarket. Here, the shelves are full of local products, making it hard to go home empty-handed. But hey, if you’ve already fallen for the bread, the cake, and the atmosphere, there’s bound to be room for something else in the bag.

 

Open from Tuesday to Friday from 08:30 to 16:00 and on weekends from 09:00.
