When in Stockholm... On to Riche! (Another) favorite. Yes, but really. The restaurant, which is inspired by Café Riche in Paris, is not only French in name. The interior is also reminiscent of a classic French restaurant. But... Riche is really Swedish. And what the Swedish do so well, they do even better at Riche: breakfast and brunch. We are certainly very happy with restaurants that have a breakfast and brunch menu. On those cards the usual croissants, pain au chocolat (usual, but oh so tasty) and yoghurt with granola and nuts, but also half grapefruits (why don't they have this everywhere?), a bowl of fresh berries or half an avocado. The toast with smoked salmon, poached eggs and red onion is recommended above all else. And yes... you don't want to miss the American pancakes with blueberries and maple syrup.
