Café Elio, The Hague

Café Elio, The Hague

Opened during corona times, but that didn't spoil the fun, because delivery is the first option the way to go for your pizza cravings. Opposite Walter Benedict In an equally beautiful old building on the Denneweg in The Hague there is now an Italian - or more specifically Neapolitan - pizzeria, Cafe Elio.

Cafe Elio

Nicely sleek and attractively decorated inside, with a few cozy tables and a nice warm red color on the wall. But more importantly: classic Neapolitan pizza with tomatoes, garlic and oregano for €7,50. And beyond this classic many more special variants on the menu. Such as with mozzarella, pulpo and salsiccia or spicy nduja (delicious spicy). The large wood-fired oven Cafe Elio is unceremoniously stoked for you. All you have to do is sip your wine – dolce far niente – and the pizza slides right in front of you. Or you can simply have it delivered. Tested by yours truly and still wonderfully hot upon arrival, we approve!

And eh, by the way… speaking of dolce: tiramisu with orange or buttermilk panna cotta with rhubarb and basil.

Allora, va bene!
