To share our love for Italian cuisine with you, we have an excellent list of Italian restaurants throughout the country! Enjoy your meal. And no, it doesn't just stop at pizza or pasta. Located in Schagen in North Holland Trattoria Sophia. The restaurant is small but nice, and above all very cozy. The extensive menu includes many Italian classics (spaghetti ala carbonara) but also lesser-known dishes such as linguini pasta in lobster-tomato sauce with lobster. Choice stress? Then choose a few dishes to share and you will definitely be fine.
In a wharf cellar on the Oudegracht in Utrecht you will experience Italian fine dining at its best. Bee Cantina di David authentic Italian cuisine (as you know it from holiday) gets a modern twist. What to expect? Antipasti, pasta, meat and fish on another level. The dishes are prepared with the utmost love (sometimes for hours, even days), because we quote: good food deserves attention and time. And you can taste that. You get a real flavor explosion with every bite.
Oh yes, plus! Cantina di David has a wonderful terrace on the water. Less nice weather? Sitting inside is certainly not a punishment. The cozy basement room is tastefully decorated with dark accents and excellent lighting.
You don't have to cross the border into Italy for a taste of the Italian 20s. You can 'just' drop by Reparola in Breda. This pasta Slash cocktail bar la dolce vita to Breda. The interior is classic – vintage mirrors and lamps – with an industrial touch (due to the spacious 'hall' with stone wall and steel accents). Let's not forget the menu, because it is top notch. On the map? Traditional homemade pasta with fresh ingredients. Big favorites are the squid pasta with prawns and samphire or truffle pasta with mushroom, mascarpone and parmesan. End the evening at the 4 (!) meter high bar with an espresso (martini) or Bellini.
If we don't go to Naples, Naples will simply come to us. At Pizza Beppe, you'll eat authentic Neapolitan pizzas: handmade dough, San Marzano tomatoes straight from the Vesuvius region, and Fior di Latte that's truly exceptional.
The atmosphere? 'Cool & fine dining'. Culture, music, lifestyle, and pizza from top-notch brick ovens. Add a generous dose of craftsmanship and passion, and you're good to go. Pizza from the brick oven, antipasti or homemade pasta family style (as usual at a trattoria) and a bottle of good wine. Or three. We want! At Italian trattoria Flying on Admiraal de Ruijterweg, in the heart of the West, they have everything your hungry heart desires. Everything? Yes, absolutely everything. The restaurant also has its own aperitivo bar: Bombolonis. In addition to the delicious menu, we also fell in love with the looks of Volare. Slightly retro and lots of soft, cuddly colors like the sand and blue that you see on the Amalfi coast when you look into the sun.

For real Neapolitan pizzas you have to go there The base are. They make the pizzas with unique products from Italy and are baked in handmade stone ovens from Naples at 480 degrees. The pizza originally comes from Naples and has a special quality mark. La Base attaches great importance to the tradition of artisanal pizza and you can taste it, you eat pizza the way pizza is meant to be, as they say. At La Base they really go all out: you are the only one in the Netherlands who can drink real Italian coffee, also known as Kenon coffee. This is a special Neapolitan coffee brand and is served and drunk on every street corner in Naples. You can find La Base in Amersfoort, Weesp and Kampen.
Want to taste the south in the north of our humble country? You can access it in Grunn (you know Groningen). restaurant en Winebar 47 Anno Dominic for a tasty Italian snack. The cuisine here is classic Italian, but has been given a modern twist. Antipasti, pasta, pizza and meat dishes are on the lunch and dinner menu. The chef's favorite (and certainly ours too!) is the risotto Asparagi with asparagus, pistachio and Dutch shrimps.
Nolita, a very nice pizza bar Haarlem on the cozy Lange Veerstraat. And it's not just any pizzaria! No: we are talking about a pizzaria+. A stylish, Brooklyn-esque (hip in a good way) restaurant with bar where you sometimes have to wait a while before you can get a table, but where you might as well stay seated all evening, it's that much fun. We can be long or short about it, the pizzas are simply very tasty.
The conviviality of Brabo-land versus Italy, do we need to say more? A huge wine list, delicious food and a beautiful restaurant. Onesto means honest and that is true Onesto strives for: simple, pure dishes that come from the open kitchen and go straight into the small shop. Sea bass fillet fried on the skin and fresh tuna (perfectly prepared). You will find restaurant Onesto in the dining street of Den Bosch, the short Puntstraat. And when the sun goes down shine, then this street feels like a piece of abroad.

A household name in Amsterdam and now also in the rest of the Netherlands. We also inspect Toscanini more than good. Have you never been there? That's not actually an option, even if it's just to be able to talk. Reservations are a must, especially for weekends. So put it in your agenda and make a reservation.
Also nice, Cafe de Parel just like Toscanini in the heart of the Jordaan.
In the always burgundy Maastricht you can go for the Italian one cravings also more than justified. At restaurant Mediterranean you are at the right address for an Italian treat. Everything is fresh there is no doubt about that because the owners always go out in the morning to do the shopping themselves. It is warm and cozy and also professional service, yes.
Mediterraneo
A household name in Rotterdam because of the tastiest Italian snacks that you simply cannot avoid. It all started at the Van Oldenbarneveltstraat and now years later there is more. A second location on Pannekoekstraat, more accessible for day guests. The idea remained the same: caterer Slash wine bar Slash restaurant with the tastiest from Italy. And now it comes… GalleryAAA the newest addition to Eat and Drink. A place where art and food come together, it feels like you are a guest with a family in Southern Europe.
Italian restaurant ZafVino can be found in the cozy 7 streets of Arnhem. A large terrace and a cozy restaurant filled with good wines. Box here, box there, full bottles, empty bottles, large and small, everything is everywhere and that makes it super cozy. It is cozy and warm. Owner Zaf goes to Italy a few times a year to pick up the tastiest wines himself and then he immediately brings a good load of fresh truffles with him. Well, it's not going to get any better. An extensive menu with the tastiest Vitello Tonato ever. You've also come to the right place for lunch. And while you are in Arnhem, restaurant Cosi (from the same owner) on the edge of the Spijkerkwartier, also a top address.

Small is beautiful. Tina Pica, family restaurant where traditional cooking is done with recipes that have been passed down for generations. Top secret. Tasty, uncomplicated and cozy. Just very good. They cook according to authentic southern Italian cuisine and you can taste it.
A friendly Italian in the Amsterdam Pijp. It started with a pizzeria (which was already great) and then an Osteria was added. A typical Italian community center where people eat and drink. Renatos continues to expand. They are no longer only in De Pijp, you can now find them in several places such as the Foodhallen (The Hague and Amsterdam), but you can also go to Nijmegen for the tastiest pizzas. Near the Vondelpark (Blauwe Theehuis) they have a great collaboration with Brouwerij het IJ, a combination of fresh beers and pizzas. Important detail: the bases at Renato's are thin and crispy, which is how we like them best.
You will find authentic Italian, a large feast of starters and a table full of fun Buoni Amici. A bit frumpy and old school it is there but also very pleasant. Sharing is caring is kind of the thing. And believe us, there is plenty to do share. It is certain that it will be a pleasant evening.
Classic Incanto, completely hidden in the heart of Amsterdam. The Venetian chef is known for his pure, simple cooking with a sense of nuance in taste. Everyday dishes such as pasta, bread and ice cream become masterpieces here. Also a top tip for a business lunch. Extra fun: choose from 150 different wines, Ha!

Well-stocked boards of meats, fried prawns and many more finger-licking goodies. Fast and above all friendly service and all for good prices. Secretly perhaps even better than in Italy yourself. This gem never disappoints. So off to Nijmegen for a nice evening Merano.
Immensely popular, but the arrival of the Soho House in Amsterdam is worth some jubilation. The hotel is members only but it is Italian Cecconi's on the first floor can be viewed by everyone. It is a beautiful place with nice seats, tables and a beautiful bar (with very good cocktails). Divine starters, pastas and more delicacies.

A hip Italian Barlucca. Large terrace with white linen covered tables. Not necessarily always equally steady As far as quality is concerned, it is always pleasant and that is also important. A good place for the end of the afternoon with a bite and a drink. Not quite your thing? Hop a little further down the street to Al Dente, the chic one that has been around for years.
The food, the looks and the atmosphere are all perfect here. La Fiorita is definitely one from the school that also includes Lille, Enterpot, Toscanini (you have them again), Scheepskameel and actually all our favorite restaurants of the moment accessories. The wines + the glasses including logo are top. The service is friendly and on point. A small menu that changes regularly with seasonal dishes, great! We paid just under 100 euros for a bottle of wine, starter and main course, which was fine. And then also in ours honeycomb near the always pleasant Jordaan.
