Serra de Tramuntana: rugged and breathtaking
Steep hairpin bends, dramatic cliffs, and stunning views. The route between Sóller and Deià is perfect for a morning hike: not too strenuous, yet incredibly beautiful. Cyclists head to Sa Calobra just before the climb: a winding climb with eleven hairpin bends and a reward in the form of an idyllic beach. Tip: leave early to beat the crowds and stop for fresh orange juice along the way in Fornalutx, one of Spain's most beautiful villages.
From Cap de Formentor to Playa de Muro
For those who love variety, this route along the northeast coast is a must. Cycling from Port de Pollença to Cap de Formentor, you'll ride past steep cliffs and through fragrant pine forests. Along the way, it's worth stopping at Mirador Es Colomer. Hikers? They'll love the trails around the Albufera Natural Park, flat yet filled with bird song. End the day at Playa de Muro beach.
