Our little Gansje is located 600 meters from the center of Utrecht, a 7-minute walk from TivoliVredenburg, and truly feels like coming home in the most central city in the country. Provided your own home is just as beautiful and equipped with all modern conveniences, of course. There is one apartment that can accommodate 3 people, and there is a suite in the attic of the building with another 3 bedrooms for a maximum of 5 people.

Unexpectedly likeable and oh so fun is Hotel Beijers in the center of Utrecht. You will find the hotel in the monumental building on Achter Sint Pieter. In case you know the hotel and are thinking… Uh? Okay? Did I lose my mind? No, no, no! Know that in mid-2020, a new operator, a young team with taste, took over the place. The fabulous 17th-century building received a fresh coat of paint, and that coat in particular is one of the reasons why we are so incredibly enthusiastic: the colors are distinctive and the combination of the historical details and fresh mint green on classic louvered doors, deep old red on the walls and ceiling, dark lavender for the beamed ceiling of an otherwise crisp white room and the forever perfect The combination of pink and red is mouth-watering. The hotel is currently run by the people at Utrecht City Concepts, a company with multiple hotels in the city (each one a top-notch establishment like the Mother Goose Hotel and the Eye Hotel). They kept the colorful artsy nature of the hotel, but gave the place a big dose of oomph. And, dogs are also welcome. The hotel is in the middle of the city and we never want to leave. You don't have to; plenty to do in Utrecht.

Petit Beijers is a truly delightful place to stay. Right in the heart of the city, on the Vismarkt, you'll sleep in a centuries-old canal house that's been completely transformed into a cozy boutique hotel. No impersonal fuss, and rooms that simply exude coziness. Everything not only looks authentic, but also feels familiar. Bonus points: downstairs... Soup-er, The soup bar where breakfast is ready in the morning. Think fresh bread, good coffee, delicious pastries, and maybe even a homemade scone. You'll want to come home to this place again and again!

If you are often found at Anne&Max – which are now located in almost every city center – then their boutique hotel in Utrecht should definitely be on your radar. Within crawling distance of the Dom you will find the first boutique hotel of the coffee chain, with a spacious bar and meeting rooms. The rooms are stylish and if you are lucky you have a lovely large bath for the perfect me time-moment. In any case, you know for sure that breakfast will taste delicious in the morning, as we are used to from Anne&Max.

The rooms are tastefully decorated, with dark walls and a bed so comfortable that you will sleep on it a few times snooze busy in the morning. Explore Utrecht, have an extensive lunch or dinner at Hemel & Aarde, have a drink afterwards in the renovated bar of the restaurant and then flop down on your comfy bed. Sounds good, right?

This boutique hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Utrecht, situated on Janskerkhof. For those who are not familiar with Utrecht: this is a nice square, and it does not really look like a cemetery. You can roll from your bed to shops, museums, restaurants and bars. Brass has a good restaurant, a garden and a shared living room where you can socialize before going to bed. The rooms have everything you need, and if you are lucky you will have a room with a view of the city.

Daen's is a household name in Utrecht, and it has expanded considerably in the meantime. You have the lunchroom, the plant shop and the hotel - all of which are located around the most pleasant square in Utrecht, the Ganzenmarkt.
