The best and nicest restaurants in De Korte Putstraat in Den Bosch
yup, The Korte Putstraat is a household name Den Bosch. Let's get straight to the point: not all of them are the best restaurants on this street. But hey, it is the nicest street in Den Bosch and that also carries a lot of weight. In the summer you can people watch on the terrace on the 'street' and in the winter it is more than cozy under the heat lamps. Afterwards you can immediately go to the pubs for a drink. On to the Korte Put!
Located in the cozy Korte Putstraat Noemme. At Noemme you can go all day long for a delicious meal or a drink. And on the map? Well, something for everyone! There are vegetarian, meat and fish dishes on the menu, and they even call themselves a flexitarian restaurant. From a Korean cauliflower, pumpkin pasta to a salmon trout. Enough choice, too tasty and slightly different from the carpaccio, salmon and schnitzel on many menus. Special wine list too.
It should also be mentioned: many of the restaurants in the Korte Put look a bit the same in terms of appearance: Noemme has more color and, on the other hand, is slightly different.
For breakfast, brunch, lunch, high tea, drinks, dinner and high wine (man, it's good!), go to Zoetelief. When the weather is nice you can sit on the terrace, but even more fun on the roof terrace: rooftop sweetie. The name says it all, through the entrance of Zoetelief you can go straight up to the roof and enjoy the tastiest drinks, bites, lunch, wines, fresh beers and cocktails.
Please note: The roof terrace is open from 17,5 degrees and of course when the rain forecast allows you to relax in the open air on the lovely roof terrace.
Ok ok, we talked about Gusto as the Italian of Den Bosch, but there is another one in the Korte Putstraat. Ristorante Onesto is everything you expect from an Italian, but with the Brabant conviviality. There is no other option in the Korte Putstraat, of course.
We will stay in the Korte Putstraat for a while because Bistro is at number 14 Aunt Pietje, and that's a nice one too. One for every day of the week, so to speak, and always fun. The very best place to share really (mega) tasty (small) dishes with a group of friends. Plate on the table, share. Whatever you do, have the tuna pizza. That's great. Make sure to make a reservation during the weekend, Tante Pietje is rightly very popular among the people of Den Bosch.
Not many know it, but once you know it you like to stick around, because in the courtyard of Luxury it's delicious. The Super de Luxe Menu with three to six courses is delicious. But the rest of the concept is also clear: a wide choice of various smaller portions from which you can create your own starter or main course. Think of scallop, cauliflower tempura and steak tartare as a starter, sole, cod, curry and sirloin steak as a main course and orange cake, sgroppino and dame blanche for dessert. Is the courtyard terrace full? Then there is the terrace at the front.
The Seventh Heaven has become a household name in Den Bosch. This is partly due to the cozy interior with the beautifully laid tables and the extensive menu. But also because of the sweet service. The starters are a bit on the pricey side, but hey, you're in the Korte Put. For example, you can order the Rendang croquettes, tuna tataki and a starter special as a starter. For the main course there are meat dishes, fish dishes and salads. We can list all sorts of desserts, but just go for the grand dessert.
Craving a cocktail after dinner? The espresso martini salted caramel and the pumpkin spice 43 shake them for you with pleasure.
The menu is a mix of Japanese and Western dishes at Lokaal 1650. So you really get something different on your plate than in the other restaurants in the street. It is your choice whether you want to order several small dishes or starters, main courses and desserts for dinner. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday you can go to Lokaal 12.00 for lunch from 1650 noon.
The dishes are brought to your table on etagères.
Miscellaneous & Fisheries: that sounds very 'fishy'. It's not too bad. Allerlei & Visserij is mainly known for its extensive menu and good desserts. A bit old-fashioned, but hey, it's a nice place. The beautiful building consists of Bistro Allerlei and Restaurant Visserij, but they have been merged. No craziness on the menu, but plenty of choice.
There is some criticism of the staff when the restaurant is busy.
There is also a restaurant in the street and not to be missed CÔTE Bar Bistro in Den Bosch. Lover (and connoisseur) of French cuisine? COTE. Really, you won't be disappointed in any way. The place itself is cozy and beautiful and the delicious French dishes are worth coming back for.
At Co's Foodbar you are always in the right place for a drink - and yes, even with a large group. On the menu? Lots of shared dining snacks, perfect for sharing. You may still know it as Lokaal 1650, but since the end of 2024 this has changed to Co's Foodbar. You will find Co's Foodbar at the beginning of the Korte Putstraat (or the end - depending on which side you come from), with a large terrace. In the weekend, the music is turned up around 11 o'clock and the disco lights are turned on, but before that you can also sit inside.
Such an always excellent restaurant: Breton. An attractive place with a nice terrace in the summer. The menu includes a number of dishes that change weekly, but you can also find classics such as the Beef Tortilla and the Breton burger.
For lunch, the Focaccia Arabic chicken salad (if it is on the menu) is a great tip.
