Restaurant Mister French is one of those places that a sour Swede could easily label as far too touristy, and a sour tourist as too vulgar. We want to go there for both reasons: yes, the place is a bit posh, but sometimes that's just vulgarly delicious (and good for people-watching). Plus: the large restaurant is right on the water in the Gamla Stan district, or the Old Town. Here you can sit among non-sour Swedes and tourists of all walks of life for an excellent Sunday brunch. The fish dishes (the seafood plate!) of the restaurant are especially recommended, but you definitely want to go there for a piece of meat as well. mrfrench.se
