Tapas & wine at restaurant PEPS in Amsterdam (West)
You will find it on Bilderdijkstraat PEPS, a Spanish wine and food bar. The interior has been given a major makeover, and the menu is also completely new. Think tables laden with tapas, carafes of wine, oysters on ice, and that extra bit of chic tableware that makes everything taste even better.
The kitchen is headed by chef Raymond van Welzenis (you might know him from BAUT), so don't expect your average tapas, but dishes with finesse and flavors that linger. It's the ideal mix of informal and classy: at the bar for a glass of wine and some pintxos, or enjoy an extensive meal with friends until the table is completely full.
Tip: the Pulpo from the plancha with the paprika-saffron sauce is really extraordinarily delicious.
