Restaurant WILS* & NENI Amsterdam together in one kitchen: six courses of enjoyment on January 24 (and you won't want to be there)

Mark your calendars for Saturday, January 24th. That's when you'll be joining NENI Amsterdam, where the chefs of Restaurant WILS* will be at the helm for one evening only, alongside NENI chef Nadav Goldenberg. Expect a six-course menu that blends Eastern Mediterranean flavors and haute gastronomy. Executive Chef Joris Bijdendijk and Chef de Cuisine Thomas Val will unleash their passion on the vibrant NENI kitchen. It's a collaboration we never knew we wanted.

Two culinary philosophies that may not seem obvious on paper, but come together surprisingly well this evening. NENI Amsterdam We're certainly familiar with Eastern Mediterranean cuisine, its vibrant atmosphere, and that pleasant, always-something-to-see atmosphere. The restaurant is owned by Haya Molcho, her husband, and their four sons, Nuriel, Elior, Nadiv, and Ilan – hence the name NENI (yes, the initials). Makes sense.

An enterprising, hardworking, and above all, very friendly family. The heart of the business? The large open kitchen in the middle of the restaurant, which you almost automatically see. Dining here is inbalaganStyle: loosely translated, charming chaos. Exactly how NENI was meant to be. A place where the love for good food and conviviality is palpable.

And then Joris – who doesn't know him – Bijdendijk. The man behind Rijks*, Restaurant WILS* in WILS Bakery Café (Bib Gourmet); everything he touches turns into a star. Restaurant WILS has also been awarded a Michelin star. Here, everything revolves around cooking over an open fire. That fire—the smoke, the heat, the steam—creates unique flavors and gives each dish depth and character. The plates that leave the kitchen are not only impressive but, above all, delicious.

This evening, we'll be pulling out all the stops with a six-course meal (€105 per person) shared between the two teams: you'll start with a table full of NENI mezze, after which WILS* and NENI will take turns in the subsequent courses. The finale? A WILS* signature dish, made with ingredients from the NENI kitchen.
