Everything in one at restaurant, shop and bakery Roca House, Ibiza

Whether you like crowds or very beautiful ones : Ibiza is the place. There is so much fun to see and do in Ibiza that sometimes you have no idea where to go. Of course we have handy lists for: New in Ibiza, the 2024 edition or a whole one full ebook about only the best places in Ibiza.

But a tip of the veil: a new hotspot has opened called Roca House, in the exclusive Roca Llisa. All year round (unique, unique!) Everyone is welcome, whether you... local or a tourist. Roca is an all-in-one place, because in addition to being a restaurant, they also have a shop and a bakery. If that doesn't make sitting comfortable, go to Roca House.

Before Roca House became Roca House, it was a clubhouse for the only golf club on the island. Now it has become a second home for the residents of Roca Llisa, located between the always busy Ibiza Town and Santa Eularia. The location and vibe immediately felt good to the owners; Werner Vanherle, Dirk van de Haar, Bart Canini and Bart Thoelen joined forces for this new hotspot. The search for the location took about two years, but the wait was rewarded with a highlight of a new addition to Ibiza.

Welcome all year round

Welcome all year round

Back to that whole year of welcome. So that's you, all year round. While most catering establishments normally close in the winter, Roca House remains open. This means it is really intended for the locals, and not just responding to tourism.

Not only are they open all year round, but also open all day. Because they have their own bakery, you can get freshly prepared bread in the morning, made with organic flour from the local flour mill or your own sourdough starter. Sagittarius, a nice fresh bread to make your day. For people who prefer to sleep in: you can (want!) to join us for lunch or dinner. There is an extensive Mediterranean menu using fresh products from the island. The menu includes: Langoustine carpaccio, ceviche with local fish or oysters.

You are also more than fine for an afternoon visit to Roca House. You can buy local products in the shop, or lie down on the terrace on the lovely sunbeds for a long afternoon by the pool.

Everyone knows that Ibiza is not a cheap place, either to live or to go on holiday. It makes a difference because Roca House has a good price-quality ratio. So you don't have to think too much about losing that much money. In addition, this place feels like you are in a cozy house, where there are cozy corners everywhere. The interior is somewhat surprising: no standard bohemian look, but lots of nice elements from the 60s, 70s and 80s. It feels eclectic, with a lot of art.

Fun fact: the owners are partly Limburgish, so the whole place is decorated with furniture and art from Limburg.
