Tigershark Coffee, Scheveningen
A touch of Melbourne right on the Dutch coast, that is Tigershark Coffee. You can tell by everything that the beach is just around the corner, so wonderful laid back en beachy are the vibes. Definitely one for the shortlist of coffee spots where you will stick around for a while after your caffeine shot.
Qua beach tents It's in Scheveningen, of course, check, but you don't exactly stumble over the coffee bars there. And there was barista slash surfer Vincent – Vinnie for the Scheveningen people – Zwaan who, after years of working in coffee, decided to open his own shop. In its own neighborhood, on a corner (always good) on Badhuisstraat and between a skate shop and a surf shop. Tigershark Coffee it was.

At Tigershark you can go in for a specialty coffee from Shokunin Coffee Collective and White Label, for example. And for yoghurt with granola, fresh juices and sweet stuff for your cup of coffee. It's just as easy to step outside again because there is a great terrace. Plus the beach is a five-minute walk away and that's just the time we need for an iced latte.
