After our glamping experiences – including at Lowlands and at the renovated Beekse Bergen (really super fun), plus a number of other glamping addresses in this book that make a nice difference in the way we can get used to it – we're done. We don't want anything else anymore. Yes, it is small, but much better than sleeping in a tent that is small(er).
and which you have to set up yourself. Additional advantage: most glampings, no matter how terrible the word is, are picturesque. With a wooded area, sea or lakes nearby, a real bed on a wooden deck and waking up when the birds sing. Ping!

One of our top favorites? Arena 0ne 99 Glamping in beautiful, relatively undiscovered Croatia. There is a kids club (a nice one, really). Mini glampers are allowed to participate in the yoga and pilates classes. They can learn to swim, or cook child-friendly healthy dishes. And then there are also special movie nights. So a packed agenda, you don't see it anymore. Fortunately, you have also been thought of.

The aforementioned yoga, a spa where you can book all kinds of treatments and wonderful hot tubs to bubble in until you turn red. And if you fancy a thirst quencher after all that hard work, there are plenty of beach bars nearby.

 

The largest tent (glamping tent, not beach tent) fits six people, it has bunk beds and also a bathroom and a kitchen. As said: it's not huge, but hey, go to the Waldorf Astoria
