On to By NOA in The Hague, for a good glass of wine (or 2, or 3 or lose count...)
If you live in - or near - The Hague, you are not likely to end up in a hotel in the city. But let the manager of the new one Mövenpick hotel want to change that now. Because at the bottom there is now that brand new hotel (worth taking a peek anyway). By NOA: a restaurant and coffee & wine lounge. That promises.
The elevated outdoor terrace of the coffee & wine lounge offers a view of Noordeinde Palace (always enjoyable). And you guessed it - or actually: we already told you - good coffee and wine are what counts. They can tell you all about it at by NOA, and you can choose from 60 wines, which you can order by the glass, so that offers options. (Read: no fussing and arguing about which bottle to use).
This place offers peace and quiet and plenty of space to work quietly or of course to relax. In the morning you do this with a nice cup of coffee (and carrot cake or another exciting pastry, ever heard of a Spanish Brötli?) with a view of the palace. In the evening the lounge turns into a wine bar with different types of jazz in the background. With traditional wines from France or Italy, but also less obvious ones from the US or Argentina. And enough charcuterie on the menu for the side. You don't have to be a tourist for that, everyone is welcomed with open arms. And er – hello – did we already say 60 different beautiful wines? We don't want to cause any offense but uh... we'll see you there!
