Wonderful stay in Paris (dog and baby incl.): Le General Hotel Paris

Le General Hotel Paris It is quite hidden and anyone who is almost at the front door almost starts to doubt whether it is in the right place. Sure. That's you. Just outside the baths, near République station and on the edge of Marsh and close to our beloved Canal St. Martin, you will find the friendly, small-scale hotel in Paris.

Le General Hotel Paris

Small-scale, which is nice: immediately upon entering you will receive the warmest welcome. And your dog too. And your baby too. The lobby is something between a cozy, dark café and invites you for a coffee, newspaper and a croissant by the window. Although you eat the latter in the morning hours in the small canteen-style breakfast restaurant behind the lobby. The hotel has no other dining options besides this chic canteen and that is exactly why a night's stay here is so affordable - a unique experience in Paris, and in a more than excellent location: just three trips away from the hotel. you will find the new and the fun Mon Coco, our new favorite restaurant, The Great Bath (recommended!) is just a 10-minute walk away, The Dauphin sit even closer (5 minutes) and then walk in the other direction and you will be there in no time the Clown Bar (also a long time favorite, 3 minutes walk). The heart of Le Marais is another 10-minute walk. As said: great location, no matter which direction you come from. The most important thing when city-tripp'n, right?

However, the rooms and the central areas are not inferior to the location: the rooms are spacious (by Parisian standards), there are cozy rubber ducks in the bathroom, the bed is large and covered with whiter than white and creaking fine linen and even on the There are cozy texts on the ceiling. The building itself dates from the 30s and was completely redesigned in 2016. The spacious ground floor is subtly divided into breakfast room/bar at the rear, lounge at the front with vintage lamps, figurine vases and colorful sideboard and library corner with quirky clocks and bookshelves with guidebooks, novels and art and design books. Another bonus is the 'hotel telephone', a mobile that you can take outside so that you always have local internet. Le General Paris
