French Glamping Galore (it's virtually impossible to go wrong here): Huttopia

It has been a fact for many years that camping with children is fun. That is to say: for the children. For yourself, if you don't like camping, it's a little less. Until the launch of the 'glamping' phenomenon. A bit of a term, but a wonderful invention if you ask us. Add to that the camping country par excellence France, and in our opinion you end up with: Huttopia website. A collection platform that offers truly beautiful places to stay in no fewer than 42 places throughout France. Always special.

Admittedly, the search for a nice campsite often starts with quite a bit of doubt. We don't want mass production, not too much commerce and certainly not too much hysteria (as in kids' entertainment). The answer to this search question when life gives you France? Huttopia.

Huttopia is glamping 2.0. They have campsites in nature, with beautiful rural elements. Each campsite is located on a beautiful lake or there are camping spots among the trees. In addition, you will not find any plastic rubbish or hysterically colored playgrounds, but nothing other than natural elements and materials. That's what we want.
This time we stayed at Huttopia Senoches in Northern France. This Huttopia is located a 7-hour drive from Amsterdam and makes this a great car holiday spot. If you want to shorten your travel time a bit, you can make a stopover in Antwerp of Ghent naturally!
At Huttopia there is a place to sleep for everyone: there are beautiful log cabins, luxurious and less luxurious tents (for example with or without a bathroom in the tent). Regardless of whether you choose to have your own sanitary facilities or not, the public toilets and showers are easy to use!
All sleeping areas are equipped with all amenities: lovely terrace in front of the tent, nice sofa outside, picnic table ready and an outdoor kitchen with which you can enjoy everything from barbecue to pasta evening. You can show off your coal skills – or not – because the food and drinks are also good in the campsite restaurant. Another nice bonus: no hassle here with paying for every ice cream and drink you get. When you check in, you open an account and at the end of your stay you pay for everything in one go – easy does it. 
There is also a lovely fireplace in the tent where you can make a campfire yourself with collected wood. Pleasant! Also nice: the tents are quite far apart - so there is a lot of privacy, which is nice on a holiday that you don't necessarily want to share with the neighbors. Also nice part 45872: free wood is available everywhere on the campsite so you don't have to drag it from the local supermarket. Thank you very much.
Furthermore, a campsite is not a campsite if there is no entertainment for the kids. No children's disco at Huttopia, but a treasure hunt through the forest, pony rides through the meadows and a magician who performs tricks before going to sleep. There is also plenty to do in the area. There are many flea markets and nice villages to visit.
You can canoe across the lake at no extra cost – just put on a life jacket and go when the boat is available.
There is a lovely swimming pool (indoor and outdoor) and plenty of playgrounds where you can play. In addition, adults are certainly taken into account (after all, they are on holiday themselves!) with a wonderful sauna overlooking the lake.
Highly recommended that Huttopia and still places available for summer 2021 if you are still looking for last minute options.

You stay at Huttopia, at all locations, in chalets or in tents that have been developed and built (or erected) by the people of Huttopia themselves, with the main aim of giving you that nice, free feeling of camping, but with comfort and good looks. After all, the eye also wants something, even in the free and happy nature. We like the Cahutte the most. A kind of tent hut, the result if a safari tent and a wooden chalet were to reproduce. The tent hut is made of canvas tent cloth and robust wood and, like the rest of the Huttopia accommodations, appears in various places in France.
