Desem is an old familiar face in town, but they have since traded their familiar spot for this location on the NYMA grounds. Here, everything revolves around—as the name suggests—sourdough, but in the form of excellent wood-fired pizzas. Additionally, you can also come here for their famous bagels.

For those who love local beer, it is Primitive Soup Brewpub A logical stop. Although you sit literally among the brewing kettles inside, on sunny days it is best to settle down on the terrace. With your feet almost in the Waal, you look out over the river and the passing ships from the long tables. The atmosphere is down-to-earth and uncomplicated. You order a (home-brewed!) beer at the bar and find a spot outside in the sun.
