Bar Roseval, Amsterdam (west)
Do you remember the jubilation surrounding the 'upcoming' Bar Roseval yet? In the Spaarndammerbuurt The whale en Bar Mick? Well, much to the dismay of the couple behind the business, the party was canceled at the last minute and the search for a perfect location continued. And we succeeded! And how! In Bolo it is ball (Bos en Lommer) and the Admiral de Ruijterweg the address.
But that's even more important Bar Roseval has become a pearl, a pearl with the tastiest falafel in Amsterdam so far (okay, in tight conflict with Bar Kaufmann). The bar is run by a couple, the Egyptian-born Yaser who previously worked at various Amsterdam restaurants, and the Dutch Anouk, AMFI alumni and usually working in fashion, but in this case responsible for the handsome, innovative looks from Bar Roseval. We f*-ing like. It should come as no surprise that the menu of roseval a bit like the couple: a bit Middle Eastern, a bit Dutch, a strong touch of completely contemporary. Bitterballen versus falafel balls. Caesar salad versus fattoush salad and a (vegetarian) burger versus lava beans. You don't have to worry about the price, nor do you have to worry about the fun. Bar Roseval
The menu is somewhat reminiscent of Ninour, and that is positive: Ninour
