Plumage Haarlem
Chicken is hip. Also in Haarlem. We already knew that thanks to the Roast Chicken Bar and in the old Carmelite, the true mosquitoes among us still remember that, is also nowadays Plumage opened. It's been a while, around December 2016 Pluimage already started in the Spekstraat (around the corner from the Grote Markt). And eeeeeeally the chicken ball had already started before that: at that time the place was still called De Kippenhal. Apparently that didn't go down very well, which we can understand, honestly. Still a bit too much in your face, hypocritical as we are.
Anyway. Back to the more chic sounding but just as chicken Pluimage. The concept of the tent is not very surprising: chicken, fries and apple sauce. But hey, a really well roasted organic chicken from the spit can never go wrong. The rest of the menu has a bit more variety: instead of just the classic chicken, you can also order chicken covered in spicy piri-piri sauce or chicken with honey mustard.
