A city trip to Nice, whether as the starting or ending point of your (summer) holiday or not, is therefore a Very Good Idea (and from now until October, it is still the best idea: the temperature and crowds are perfect in the shoulder season).

Anyway, I made a very extensive guide (incl. markets, museums, and things to do) which, if I do say so myself, turned out really great! Normally it goes into the shop, but if you give it a heart and reply 'Nice' below, I will send you our hotels and the guide for free via DM for a limited time.

Life lately… I just can’t get used to racing from one place to another, and on the other hand, I don’t want to commit to a quieter way of doing things. Doing less. Seems damn boring to me. So we (we, Queen of the Netherlands) accept that we occasionally collapse, only to do exactly the same thing again. And embrace that ♥️

Taking a step back, spending a lot of time at home (nearby) and at the office these weeks & loving it.

Lalala, love for the Netherlands. And for weekend getaways. Yes, for traveling abroad too, but nowhere recharges you quite like being close to home. And the Netherlands is SO much fun! There are so many amazing places outside the city (I mean all the cities in the country). So we created a route straight through the Netherlands: starting in Limburg and working our way up. And then it was time to recharge. Myself and the car at the Shell Recharge points, of course. It goes like a rocket (while the rest get to go delightfully slowly).
